Mike O'Connell
Pacific Railway & Navigation Co

This huge multi-deck layout models a bridge route owned by Southern Pacific. It was SP's plan to operate in Northern California and Western Oregon to reach the Pacific Northwest via Tacoma and points east to Spokane, leasing the Cascade routes of Great Northern and Northern Pacific. Set in the transition era the PR&N still operated with first generation motive power. Operators will be running Spokane's Parkwater Yard prepping inbound and outbound traffic and making up the Palouse switching trick. Scenic highlights include a spectacular rendition of downtown Spokane and its Great Northern depot and clock tower.

It was featured in Model Railroader's September 2022 issue (see partial track plan here) and a video tour is available.
